Measure first, then tune
We look at lab data from Lighthouse and PageSpeed Insights, but mainly at field data from real visitors via the Chrome UX Report and Search Console. Google rates a page as good with a Largest Contentful Paint of at most 2.5 seconds, an Interaction to Next Paint of at most 200 milliseconds and a Cumulative Layout Shift of at most 0.1. For each page type we show where you stand and what the biggest brakes are.

Images in modern formats and the right sizes, fonts that load smartly, third-party scripts that only start when needed, and code that does no more than necessary. We also look at caching, a CDN and your hosting. We work in WordPress, Webflow, Shopify and custom builds, and measure again after every improvement.

Why does my site score low in PageSpeed Insights even though it feels fast?
The score at the top is a lab test on a simulated, slow mobile phone. That is stricter than your laptop on the office wifi. More important is the field data from real visitors: that determines whether you pass the Core Web Vitals. We look at both, but steer on the field data.
Does a faster website really help my Google rankings?
Speed is one of many signals, not a magic button. Good content remains more important. But between two comparable pages a fast experience helps, and above all your visitors notice the difference straight away.
Does my website need rebuilding to become faster?
Usually not. Images, scripts and caching often offer plenty of gains. If the slowdown is in an outdated theme or a pile of plugins, we discuss honestly whether a rebuild is the wiser choice.
