For CHAVORE, the ISSA initiative for young children's mental well-being, we built an interactive treasure hunt: five short chapters on a map, a community wall and a treasure chest that opens at the end. For everyone who works with young children, in six languages.

CHAVORE means 'children' in Romani. For this ISSA initiative we built a short treasure hunt that makes professionals stop and reflect on their own practice. Explore. Reflect. Unlock.
CHAVORE works for the mental health and well-being of children aged 0 to 6, especially in vulnerable communities such as Roma. Partners in five countries are involved. The question was how to bring that knowledge to professionals in a way that sticks.
We took the TOY4Participation treasure hunt as a base and turned it into a quest of its own in CHAVORE's style. Light, warm and coloured in orange and yellow. That way we built on something that works, without it becoming a copy.
On a map you adventure through five short chapters, from Learning Through Feelings to Care for the Caregivers. In each one you choose which practices you already use and which you would like to try or do more of.
At the end the treasure chest opens: a free self-paced CHAVORE training and resources. Everyone's choices come together on the community wall, with live counters per practice. The quest is available in English, Albanian, Croatian, Hungarian, Slovak and Slovenian.

Today may be the day to meet your strategic partner.
