What do customers actually think when they hear your name? Brand research brings those perceptions to the surface, through interviews, surveys and data. So you build your brand on facts instead of assumptions.
Listening before we design
There is often a gap between how you see yourself and how the outside world sees you. We talk to customers, former customers, employees and sometimes to people who chose not to work with you. We also run a short survey and look at reviews, search behaviour and what is said about you online. That gives an honest picture of your brand, including the less flattering parts.
From insights to choices
Research is only useful if you act on it. We summarise the results in clear insights: what do people value, what is missing and which associations do you want to strengthen or lose? Those insights form the basis for your brand strategy, a rebrand or simply a sharper message on your website.

Tools & platforms
When does brand research make sense?
Especially before a rebrand, for a new positioning, after a merger or when you notice your message no longer lands. And when opinions differ strongly internally, research helps base the conversation on facts.
How many people do you talk to?
That depends on your market and your question. For qualitative insights a handful of good conversations is often enough to see recurring patterns. A survey adds broader input. We agree on the setup with you beforehand.
Are the answers anonymous?
If you want, yes. People are often more honest with an outside party than with you as the business owner. That is why we report on main themes and only quote with permission.
