Websites & Web Shops

A cookie banner that nudges visitors towards 'accept', scripts that load before anyone has chosen anything: it happens more often than you think. We make sure your cookies, consent and tracking comply with the GDPR and Dutch telecom law, without needlessly losing marketing data.

First, see what happens today

We scan your website for cookies and third-party scripts: what is placed, by whom and before or after consent? We often find old pixels, forgotten tags or embeds such as YouTube and Google Maps that send data without consent. We list those findings, together with what needs to change.

A banner that is fair and works

We set up a consent banner where refusing is as easy as accepting, with clear categories and an accurate cookie statement. Via Google Tag Manager, scripts only load after consent. With Consent Mode v2 you pass your visitor's choice on to Google, which Google has expected since 2024 for advertising features in the EEA. That keeps you within the lines while keeping your measurements as complete as possible.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked

All questions about Websites
Do I need consent for every cookie?

No. Functional cookies needed to make your site work do not require consent. In the Netherlands, analytical cookies with little privacy impact are subject to more lenient rules, provided you configure them in a privacy-friendly way. Marketing and tracking cookies do require prior consent.

What is Consent Mode v2?

A way to pass your visitor's cookie choice on to Google services such as Analytics and Ads, which adjust their behaviour accordingly. Without Consent Mode v2 you can make less use of features such as remarketing and personalised ads in the EEA.

Do you give legal advice?

No, we are not lawyers. We make sure the technology is right and point out what we come across. For your privacy statement or legal questions we are happy to work with your lawyer or privacy adviser.
