Phoenix aims to produce green hydrogen with wind and solar energy and bring it from Texas to Europe. A big plan in a place that is still empty. It had to become imaginable: what does it look like, and how does the route run?
We started by sketching the sitemap and designed the website in dark blue with mint green: a hero with wind turbines, the projects and the mission. For the presentation we made the cover and map visuals. Animated maps follow the route: from the Phoenix site via Corpus Christi across the ocean to Rotterdam and Antwerp, and from there into the hinterland. A 3D flight over Phoenix One shows the roads, wind turbines and solar fields.
Visuals and motion that make a plan on the drawing board tangible, on the website and in the presentation.
