Walking with alpacas, high tea among the animals, pizza on the farm, a night in a tent. Alpacafarm Vorstenbosch, a few kilometres from our office, has plenty going on. Online, it had to feel just as welcoming, and be just as easy to book.
Visitors mostly want to know quickly when they can drop by and what there is to do. So we developed a custom opening-hours plugin with a manageable module: a monthly calendar showing the hours for each day, closed and partly open days and special notes. The farm updates the hours itself, and the calendar shows the seasonal programmes too.
The activities take centre stage. Every activity has its own page with what you will do, the key details at a glance and its own frequently asked questions. The overview works with filters and shows separately what is not available right now.
The farm looks different in winter than in summer, and that should show. With the four-seasons feature the photos for each activity change with the season, so all year round the website shows what there is to experience right now.
The website is built in WordPress, with activities, the Alpacabar, overnight stays, breeding, company outings and the shop each in their own place. On the booking page you choose an activity and book straight away through the integrated external booking module, for activities as well as lunch and high tea. Every activity has its own frequently asked questions, and a central FAQ is organised by theme.
Local SEO pages help visitors and companies from different cities and regions find the farm, and a knowledge base answers the questions about alpacas. Anyone who wants to know something straight away asks in the qbud.ai AI chat that we added to the site.

We take care of the social media and organic content: the feed, reels and everything around it. The alpacas naturally play the lead role. A good moment with a curious alpaca says more than a long caption.

The web shop for the Alpaca Boutique, the shop of Alpacafarm Vorstenbosch, in WordPress and WooCommerce: from alpaca wool and duvets to cuddly toys and gifts, with a mega menu per category, search and filters, product pages with FAQs and digital gift cards.

Wool, duvets, cuddly toys and gifts. The shop at Alpacafarm Vorstenbosch has it all, and with the web shop you simply order it from home too.
Alongside the activities, Alpacafarm Vorstenbosch has a shop of its own, the Alpaca Boutique. For that shop we built the web shop, in WordPress with WooCommerce, in the same warm style as the boutique: dark blue with dusty pink. Anyone who wants to see the alpacas in real life finds the way to the farm straight from the shop.
A mega menu with seven categories, from home and accessories to alpaca wool and duvets, takes you straight where you need to be. In the shop you search by name and filter by price and category.
On the product page you choose your option, such as the size of a duvet, and read everything about the product, the shipping and the questions customers ask most, from care to returns. And if you can't decide, you give a digital gift card.

Today may be the day to meet your strategic partner.
