A table full of blocks that together form a city, where everyone can help plan. The Dynamic Campus Mapping Team at TU Eindhoven came up with it. We made it understandable.
The Dynamic Campus Mapping Team, a spin-off of TU Eindhoven's Smart Cities guild, created a tangible, interactive matrix. It makes urban planning with many stakeholders more accessible and more playful. The catch: the technology is hard to explain.
We built a 3D model of the matrix and made a concept video with 3D animation that explains the whole idea step by step. You see the buildings on the coloured grid and the screen above showing the data. That way everyone at the table understands what it's about.
