For the Atletiekunie (the Dutch athletics federation) we created ATL+: the national e-learning platform for athletics, with a visual development method, learning pathways, instruction videos and a personal dashboard. From brand and UX research to video recording and management.

How do you teach a young athlete the right take-off, a solid starting position or a steady stride pattern between hurdles? With ATL+ you see it step by step, in clear videos.

The Atletiekunie, the Dutch athletics federation, wants to strengthen clubs and help coaches with effective training methods. For that, a visual development method was created: a learning pathway in clear steps for each athletics event. That knowledge had to come together in one place: a new, national e-learning platform for everyone working with athletics talent.

We started with UX research, including group sessions. Then, together with the Atletiekunie team, we gave ATL+ its own logo and visual identity, in blue with orange as the accent. Modern and refined, in line with the federation's ambitions. We built the platform in Webflow.

Every learning pathway is split into numbered steps, from the basics to competition technique, with an instruction video for each step. From the take-off with a standing landing to the acceleration towards the first hurdle. A free account gives you access to everything. After logging in, your dashboard shows personalised e-learning, and every user is given the right role or roles.

More than 100 learning videos across more than 10 learning pathways live in the Webflow CMS, which keeps content management clear. We recorded and edited the instruction videos ourselves. We also manage the sign-up environment and the website.
